Friday Football Equation
|
A and B are two footballers who played for club X sometime after 2000.
Both then left, A went to Y and won the league, B went to Z and also won the league (Z and Y are rival clubs).
A and B then reunited at W before A returned to play for X.
A and B have both won the Champions league.
Name A, B, W, X, Y, Z.

I was way off base then. I thought it might be Drogba and Anelka as they joined up in China but again couldn't get it to fit!!!

Well the only English rivals to have both won the league after this year is Arsenal/Chelsea and Man Utd/Man City.
I am however fair too lazy to ever think about puzzles and after knowing that is wasn't Ashley Cole and Gallas, I gave up.
Hurry up and work it out someone please :o)

Actually i've looked and i think it is Robben and Van Bommell as said earlier by ARNOLD
Both played for PSV
Robben signed for Madrid (after chelsea) Van Bommel signed for Barca
Both won the league with these teams.
Both moved to Munich
Van Bommell then went back to PSV
A -Robben B - Van Bommell X - PSV Y - RM Z- Barca W - Munich X- PSV

Henry went back to Arsenal on loan whilst at NY Red Bulls. Can't think of another ex-Arsenal player who was at NY alongside him though, so probably rules that one out.
